As is probably evident by previous posts, we at Campaign think MVRDV are simply the bees knees. 'Le Monolithe' is an eco urban block in Lyon, masterplanned so that different architectural companies design each segment. The parameters for each design, are volumetric, rather than visual, a la Borneo Sporenburg ['West 8' Masterplan in Amsterdam]. This creates an eclectic, but at the same time, neat aesthetic. Groovy.
